ZooParc Overloon in Overloon, Brabant, is an animal park with spacious, natural equipped animal shelters. It is famous as the most natural zoo in the Netherlands. The park has an area of 21 hectares with, among other animals, cheetahs, tapirs, gibbons, flamingos, giant anteaters, small pandas, reindeer, bear martens and the largest group of ibises in the world.
Exotic animals
In ZooParc Overloon you walk through the animal enclosures such as the Asian Maidan and the Lemurs island. You can make a journey along special animal and plant species. You can also find Kid Kids Kingdom. You will meet exotic animals such as the Alaotrabamboemaki’s, Northern gibbons, Vietnamese sika deer and bear Martens. In the Kids Kingdom you can find meerkat, raccoons and Bennettwallaby’s. Children can play on the playground, cuddle with animals and do a scavenger hunt.

In the spring of 2011, a spectacular new accommodation opened its doors on an historic location; the former prison in Roermond. Today, this luxurious hotel is a place where you will happily be locked up. The foundations of the prison, dating from 1863, have been left intact, giving the hotel its characteristic atmosphere. Facilities
Het Arresthuis has converted the 105 former prison cells into 36 spacious guest rooms and 4 luxurious suites. All rooms have contemporary design and are furnished with your comfort in mind. In the courtyard you can unwind on the lovely terrace. Here, or in the restaurant, you can enjoy some of the exclusive dishes that our chefs prepare. Completely relax or stay in shape in the sauna and fitness centre. There are no bounds to your luxury whilst staying in Het Arresthuis.
Location & Accessibility
Het Arresthuis lies directly in the centre of Roermond, just minutes away from the central station, making access by public transport very convenient. In addition, the hotel is also easily reached by car. Düsseldorf International Airport is only 60 km away from the city of Roermond.
