Pairi Diaza is voted as the best theme park in 2013 and as the most beautiful park and the most beautiful zoo in Belgium in 2014. The park is definitely worth a visit. Pairi Diaza means in old-Persian ‘closed garden’(oldest name for ‘paradise’). The garden is what you call a pure piece of nature. It is 55 hectares, build inbetween the ruins of the Cistercian Abbey of Cambron and is surrounded by a wall of 3 kilometers of land. Here, you’ll find beautiful centuries old trees and special flowers and plants. A piece of land where 5.000 animals live.

Giant pandas in Paira Daiza

The park has a very old appearance due to the many ruins that still stand. It is certainly one of the most popular zoos in Belgium. The main attractions are the two giant pandas named Hao Hao and Xing Hui. These two giant pandas are a loan to the park from China. Would you like to view these pandas?
